Registering

In order to play Lightside/Legend Ragnarok Online you must first register for an account on the forums. Our forums are directly connected to the game, so whatever username and password you choose for your forums account will be what you use to log in to the game. After registering your account, the next step is to download the client.

Here are some tips for choosing a username, password and email address:

• Choose a username that's longer than four letters! Shorter usernames will cause problems when you try to log in.
• Make it a username that you can remember.
• Choose a password that nobody else can guess. Passwords like "ragnarok" or "blue" are very easy for people to guess. Try to mix numbers and letters in together to form your password. You might also want to take a look at a password generator for some help making easy to remember passwords that nobody else can get.
• Use a reliable email address that isn't going to become inaccessible on you. Gmail, your school email address and your email address at your ISP are all good choices. Hotmail, AOL, and yahoo however will not work with our system.
